The Conroe ISD Board of Trustees is seeking community input on the naming of schools and facilities across the District that are new or unnamed. After reviewing Board Policy CW (Local) below, please submit a name and justification in accordance with the noted timeline for any facility in which you're interested.

Naming Facilities: CW (LOCAL)

1. Nominations may be submitted by the general public.

2. High schools shall be named after geographical areas.

3. Junior high schools, intermediate schools, elementary schools, and other District facilities may be named after:

a. Geographical areas;
b. Prominent persons or public officials who have served the District or community with distinction;
c. Persons who have gained recognition in education or the arts;
d. National or state heroes, whose names lend prestige and status to an institution of learning and whose lives and achievements serve as
positive role models for the students who will attend the particular school; and
e. Persons donating land or money for the facility.
