Substitute Hiring Requirements
Substitute applications for the '24-25 school year will be accepted through March 31, 2025.
Applications for the '25-26 school year will be accepted beginning July 1, 2025.
Below are the substitute categories, including minimum requirements, pay rates, and detailed information for each.
How to Submit Your Online Application
Substitute applications are now open for the 2024-20025 academic year.
The substitute pool is not utilized in the summer months for summer school.
Please read Steps 1-4 below to have your questions answered before applying.

Substitute Application Process
Please note: If you are a current or recently separated Conroe ISD employee, you must wait until the month following the issuance of your last paycheck before the District can re-hire you. TRS Retirees may have to wait an additional 30 days.
