The election for Trustee positions 1, 2, and 3 will be on November 3, 2026.

Trustees are elected at-large for four (4) year terms.

Notarized candidate applications are filed in the CISD Legal Office by mail, facsimile, email, or in person during regular business hours. (See "Contact Us" for more information.)

The first day to file a candidate application for the November 3, 2026, General Election is Saturday, July 18, 2026; however, because CISD offices are closed on this date, the first date the District can receive candidate applications is Monday, July 20, 2026. The last day to file a candidate application is Monday, August 17, 2026, by 5 p.m. There is no fee to file a candidate application.
