Stockton Junior High Language Arts Department is here to work with students for the successful achievement of learning goals.  By empowering students with the skills to read, write, speak, listen, and view critically, strategically, and creatively, we equip our students with the tools to become lifelong, independent learners in this ever changing world. This is accomplished by engaging students in meaningful literacy activities.  Our instruction is differentiated to meet the needs of each learner.  Cooperative learning, small group work, independent achievement and interactive dialogue are the hallmarks of our subject area.
