Special Transportation Requests

Special Needs Transportation Services

Special Needs Transportation provides curb-to-curb pick-up and drop-off services.

It may take 3-5 days for new or existing Special Needs students to be assigned Transportation Services once the Admissions, Review, Dismissal (ARD) is held and we receive the eSped paperwork from the campus.

All Special Needs buses are equipped with seat belts and students are required by law to wear them. Students are expected to stay in their assigned seat (with seatbelt fastened) until the bus comes to a complete stop at their final destination. Students that are assigned other safety equipment must use that equipment while on the bus.

In the event that no one is home to receive the student, and they are not authorized on the Supervision Waiver Form to be left alone, the driver will notify the office and record the location and time of arrival. The school will be notified that we are returning the undeliverable student. The parent will need to arrange to pick up their child.

Alternate Address Request

Conroe ISD is committed to providing transportation to eligible students to and from student’s home address. Understanding that for some families, transportation to and/or from an alternative location is needed. Please use the linked form to indicate to us your requested Alternate information. It is important that you provide us as much information as possible. Alternate transportation is not guaranteed and is based on the availability of an existing stop on an existing route with space available. Additionally, the requested alternate location must be within the same attendance zone of the child’s campus. Students who are not eligible for transportation (including transfers & under 1 mile) are not eligible for alternate address transportation.

Please note this form cannot be used to change your existing physical address. Address changes must be made at the campus.

Please click on the link to first ensure that your child is registered for transportation services, then select the option for Alternate Address Request.

Conroe ISD is committed to providing transportation to eligible students of CISD employees.
Employee Shuttle or "Teacher's Kid (TK)" transportation is not guaranteed and is based on the following guidelines:

  • The connecting shuttle must be on or along an approved route.

  • Campuses sharing the same parking lot are not eligible for TK shuttle service.

  • The parent must be assigned to the campus, and the student must be at their assigned campus. We will not pick up or drop off a student at a campus they do not attend or where their parent does not work.

  • The service is for district employees only.

  • The employee must be the parent or legal guardian of the student.

  • Shuttle service requests may take up to 5 days to process.
