Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Life can be a juggling act. It takes time and energy to balance your work, family, and personal challenges. To help manage life’s daily challenges, Conroe ISD is pleased to make the SupportLinc employee assistance program (EAP) available to you. The program offers confidential, professional support and resources at no cost to you and your family (any member of your household and your children up to age 26, even if the child does not live with you).

Concerns an EAP can help with include: anxiety, anger management, depression, family counseling, grief, job stress, marital concerns, stress management, substance abuse, and work-life balance. Watch the orientation video to learn more, or review the program flyer (Español).

Employee Leave

Employees who are absent for any of the reasons listed below should apply for a leave of absence with the CISD Human Resources Department. When the leave is foreseeable, you should submit the application 30-45 days before the leave is to begin. If you are already absent or leave will begin within the next 30 days, you should submit the application as soon as possible – the day you learn of the need for leave or the next workday.

A serious health condition is an illness, injury, impairment, or physical or mental condition that involves inpatient care or results in incapacity of more than three full, consecutive calendar days and requires continuing treatment by a health care provider.

Note: District policy requires you to apply for leave and submit medical certification from a qualified health care provider if you are absent five or more consecutive workdays because of a personal illness or the illness of your spouse, child, parent, or sibling or stepsibling.
