About Giesinger Elementary

History & Namesake

Imogene Giesinger

Giesinger Elementary opened in the fall of 1990. The school is named for Imogene Giesinger who was an outstanding administrator, teacher, and educator in our district. Since the school's beginning, we have fostered high academic standards along with a nurturing environment that encourages all students “to soar to excellence.”  In 2014, Giesinger was honored to be named a National Blue Ribbon School. Our vision is to provide a positive, caring, and challenging environment of excellence in which each child is successful and achieves maximum potential.

Parents are encouraged to schedule conferences with their child’s teacher. Conference times are listed below. We encourage parent involvement and have an active PTO that supports our staff, students and school programs.
