History & Namesake

The current Peet Junior High moved to the northwest side of Loop 336 in 2013. The school was originally opened in 1995 at the current Conroe High School 9th Grade Campus location.

Our school is named for Dr. John Peet, who was a member of the Conroe ISD Board of Trustees from 1979-1988 and was the president of the board from 1984-1986. Dr. Peet also served as Conroe High School's football physician from 1973-2000.
